Wonderful! A well composed replication in life of the great work of art!

I love this!! I love that you made yourself into The Old Guitarist--that, in itself, is just awesome. Of course I love what goes along with that--the bluish tones and the pose (very well done, by the way), and I like how simple yet well-created it is--how you are perfectly framed within the door and the brush strokes you made and the accent on the outline.

Thanks for sharing.

This is a splendid modern rendition of Picasso's The Old Guitarist! Done during his blue period, I've gotta ask if there's any significance between that and possibly a period of your life when this image was created? Soul searching and introspection is often the way powerful works of art come to be. I really like this take on the classic :)

Well, I play guitar (obviously) and that's how I vent. My guitar releases my frustrations and despairs. Also, this is the only piece by Picasso that I like. I'm not big on him, and his blue period was the best, and this piece just spoke to me. I'm pretty close to it.

When I first saw it I said to myself: "Damn, that's blurry"... but in reference to Picasso... it's more similar than not!

 on the tribute!

Thanks. Where's the pic that you made your avatar? I went to you gallery and couldn't find it. I'm confused...

It's not a photo of mine, it was from a photo of Aria Giovanni (if you don't know who that is you should Google her -- but beware... most photos will probably be nude.)

She's my hero ~____^

A little too dark in my opinion, but great anyway, yay for guitarists :D

really nice shot. maybe try with different colors though just to experiment.but one thing i mianly would say is add a darkish frame to make it stand out more, but beautiful shot :)

Nice. Change your leg positions, if possible, though. Otherwise, great re-creation of a classic piece.

is a nice shot, a bit too dark maybe but I like the concept. You could add it a frame with the name to improve it. Anyway is a good work.
